Purpose of processing, personal data and data retention

We process your personal data for the purpose of access control and camera surveillance in Raisio Group’s properties and factory areas, as well as to enable network connection. Camera surveillance is clearly announced on signs.

The processing of personal data is based on legitimate interest to protect property and to prevent and investigate situations that endanger safety (including food safety) and property, vandalism and crimes, as well as to ensure the personal safety of anyone on the premises.

The personal data includes the names of visitors, and persona doing business at the premises, the name of the company and information about the host of the visit, the image recording from the surveillance camera and information about the location and time of the recording, as well as the vehicle’s license plate number, if the company/logistics operator has a contract with Raisio about the use of vehicle identification system.

In cased involving visits to factory premises, we also process information about hygiene proficiency certificate, salmonella certificate or proof of completing Raisio’s internal instructions, including orientation.

We also process visitors’ web contact information, including log and other tracking information, when the visitor accesses Raisio’s network connection provided for visitors.
Personal data is collected from the visitor or from someone acting on his/her behalf or from the visit. Personal data is also collected from surveillance camera recordings and when the visitor uses the network connection.

Raisio may disclose personal data of the visitors to third parties only when the recipient has a data processing contract with Raisio or the right to receive information based on law or in exceptional cases with the data subject’s consent. for example to protect the rights of visitors or others.

Personal data is processed either in Raisio’s data systems or in the date systems of Raisio’s contractual partner’s, in case the latter suppliers act as processors or sub-processors of personal data.

We keep your personal data only as long as it is necessary to fulfill the specified purposes or according to the retention periods based on legislation, after which the data is deleted. Traffic event data and camera surveillance data a stored for a maximum period of one year. The log data storage period is the current year and the following five calendar years. In the electronic visitor location register, information is stored for a maximum of one year from the moment of registration, and information about the completed visitor orientation for a maximum of 180 days.
In connection with the visit, you may also be required to sign a separata confidentiality agreement. The confidentiality agreements are kept regardless of the retention periods of the visit as long as the confidentiality obligations are in force or their violation can be invoked.
